NCS Navigator
Relaunched in two exciting new versions...
Last year NCS Colour released NCS Navigator; an online colour design tool that let you interact with the three dimensional NCS Colour Space and create harmonic colour palettes. NCS Navigator has been such a success that over one hundred thousand designers and architects made it part of their daily creative routine.
Today, the NCS Navigator is relaunched in two new versions with a completely new design and added functionality, with one special edition developed for the professional user.
The Freemium version brings features to the user in the shape of being able to design colour combinations based on e.g. similar whiteness, blackness and chromaticness. Today's colourist needs to be able to assess colours against not only white but black and grey and this can be achieved at a click. To further aid the selection process and physical Colour Sample location it is possible to show selected colours in the 3D Colour Space. Colour palettes designed by a user can also be shared between friends on the social web such as facebook.
The Premium version includes even more functionality suited for the modern colour professional. NCS Navigator 2.0 Premium integrates with the new NCS Colour Scan 2.0, enabling colours from the scanner to be downloaded straight into NCS Navigator. Palettes and combinations can be saved for future reference and exported into design programs such as Adobe® Creative Suite®, Autodesk® AutoCAD® and Graphisoft® ArchiCAD®. NCS colours can be converted into RGB (sRGB and AdobeRGB), CMYK(Coated and Uncoated) and Lab for Print for use in all major graphic design, image, CAD and web design software, allowing complete colour control between digital design and reality.
"Navigator 2.0 in its two new versions bring even greater power and control over the NCS System, its notations and its integration into the design process. Our focus has been to build on the features of Navigator 1.0 to increase the way our users interact with colour in the digital design process. NCS Navigator 2.0 give more flexibility, usability and freedom to the modern colour user."
