In these 2 days we will discuss in depth the interaction of colours and how a designer works within interior colour design. We will combine lectures and practical exercises. The course will end up in a smaller colour design proposal in interior colour design for each participant.

We will start with a lecture with inspirational ideas and examples from official environment. We will work practically with colour scales and discuss what is a harmonic colour composition?

You will do your own colour palette for interior colour design. What are the principles within interior colour design? Combination of different material like textile, flooring, paint, carpets etc. How will the colour design affect your room?

The interaction of colours and how they change is an important factor to be consider within interior design like: Simultaneous colour contrast, How can I control this colour phenomenon? To determine the NCS Lightness value, to get a good colour contrast is important in official interiors. How colours are changing in different light sources another important issue.
